Drivers seat repair
Hi,
I have a 2011 XC70 AWD D5 which is done approx 135,000 and my drivers seat could do with some attention. The seats are leather and I’m looking to have a wear through on the top right side (Where you brush against whilst getting in and out of the car) and the general padding improved. I live in Northumberland and I wonder if anyone has any recommendations on who to contact close to me? Thanks |

Check whether the "leather" seats are actually all leather. Some builds have leather faced high wear areas while areas which are supposed to get less wear are covered in a very convincing plastic simulated leather.

I know my previous Volvo a V50 had leather faced material. But these are supposed to be leather. How would I find out for certain?

The simulated leather is very well done I struggle to differentiate the panels on my '12 XC70 which has "Leather" seats
