Default Hissing sound!

Though I had a puncture yesterday, parked car and when I got out could here a loud hissing noise , rushed round to local garage, still hissing when I got there, but had stopped when the chap came out to have a look at it! Looked at tyres no probs, plus the car would say if It had lost too much air.
Doing it again today, so I have to take it in on tue AM for them to check it over.

Anyone else had anything like this? It hasnt got air suspension that that rules that out.

Thanks Andrew

Most likely a leaking pipe connection from power pulse system, assuming you have a 2017 power pulse model, another guy on here had this problem about a week or so back, It was not a big issue and easily sorted out.

That sounds like it then, it is a 2017 MY with power pulse.
Wonder if it is anything to do with the fact I got it moving quite fast on a private road the night before?

Could well be, it did cross my mind if you had tested out the power. It should still be able to handle this but the odd lose fitting on these pipes looks to be cropping up.

Excuse my ignorance- power pulse and connection to hissing? - is this something to do with hydraulics or emissions or (pipes?)...

No, air compressed in a small tank connected to the turbo with hoses.

To overcome turbo lag Volvo have fitted a compressed air reservoir tank which is kept topped up by an electric air pump, when you press the accelerator for rapid acceleration the air is released from the reservoir and injected into the exhaust gas inlet side of the turbo to spin up the turbo very fast to overcome the lag, this is not activated in normal gentle acceleration, a bit like kickdown on the gearbox. The system is called Power Pulse and fitted from MY 2017 models.
There has been at least one report on here of leaking pipework on this system that was quickly and simply addressed by volvo dealership.
