Checking Oil Level?
Have tried with the car cold and just turning on electrics.
Tried after a longish run, leaving the car for about 5 minutes and again just turning on the electrics, but in the car status, all I get is, no readings available. Am I doing something wrong? Thank you. tem.

Are you holding the start switch in "ON" position for 5 seconds (with foot of brake) if not try that then check, this is the ignition position 2 setting to activate systems.

Would'nt it be great if they fitted a dipstick in the engine, then as well as checking the level you can see what the quality is like, especially useful if anyone is buying a used vehicle and wants to check if engine has been serviced.
