Default XC60 B4 R-design issues

Hey all
First thanks for accepting me onto the forum, I didn't even know it existed and this is my 3rd XC60.

Couple of questions!

I bought my XC60 last Sept from new, it was in the showroom I know I'm a sucker for a shiny car...I see from reading some of the topics here that there is a mild hybrid. Will mine be one? Never heard the term before today. How do I find out if I have one?

Second I'm having real issues with squeaky brakes and braking. Anyone else having issues?

I have had two XC60's before and not one of them had this issue. I begrudge paying so much for a car that sounds like an accordion.

Thanks all!

The B is for mild hybrid.

B4/B5 etc.

If you have a B4 (as opposed to a D4) then you have a mild hybrid.

I've had the very occasional squeak from my XC60 brakes but not regularly. If it's bothering you then a dealer visit is in order.

Second column in the table is titled B5 (D) AWD (245 hp) Auto Diesel.

Plus I'm only just getting just over 30 mpg and in my old SAT NAV LUX I used to easily get 38 mpg.
I can't even get to 38 when I'm motorway driving.
Any ideas?

It mentions Polestar engineered, the B5 I have does not have any mention of Polestar
hence my comment

Where do you see Polestar Engineered mentioned?

Select the Blue text and a drop down of more data appears.
