Recall Notice
After a bit of advice:
I've received my Volvo/DVSA recall notice today for the rework of the inlet manifold and EGR pipework on my V90 D4, I will be ringing the dealer tomorrow to book the car in as instructed. Can anyone who's already had the work done please give me some idea of time taken to complete it. Is it worth asking for a loan car or is it short enough to take full advantage of their showroom coffee machine, complimentary newspapers and comfy sofas? Sadly their premises are a bit too far out of town to have a wander around the shops and visit Wetherspoons! Thanks.

You will need a loan car, the job will take several hours to complete. Mine is booked in for next Monday for the day.

It's a "within the day" job...so depends how much sofa lounging you're prepared to do
(Or it's 3wks if you need door locks replacing and software updates at the same time - worth asking for the latter if you've not had them done in the last few months). |

Mine was in for the day. They mentioned the option to wait but apparently it’s a more complex (time consuming) job on the XC.

No need to loose your rag , all I’ve said is that I’ve not received any recall yet and I’m not worried about it you need to calm down
