Default My Volvo failed inspection :( can it be fixed..?

Hi all,
on Friday my 2003 V40 1.8i failed its first inspection I have put it through. The reasons were corrosion. The parts in question seem to go by a few names and I don't know what's right, but its the subframe/engine crossmember and then front frame structure which are rusted pretty bad.
Does anyone know much about the job of replacing these parts? Anyone know a good source (preferably in IRL)?
Advice is much appreciated.
(And just for clarity, it is the piece that runs beneath the engine in the centre, and the piece of frame behind the front bumper)

On the age of car that is, I would suggest to look into wire-brushing it down and then coating it with hammerite.

The beam under the engine can be replaced with a used one from a scrappie. The front beam can be accessed by removing the under tray behind the front bumper. This is part of the bodywork so needs wire brushing and painting as previously suggested. Very simple to do and no reason to scrap the car if everything else is in good condition.
