Thanks for the replies. I have ordered a replacement Bosch MAP sensor for the intercooler (with a 5 year warranty this time and free return option if I don’t need it).
My thinking is that by the time I’ve removed the 3 year old sensor in there now, even if it looks ok or like it just needs a clean, I’d rather replace it than do the job again soon for the sake of my knuckles. I remember it being a fiddle last time. I’ll have a look for leaks and other possible causes whilst I’m swapping that, probably at the weekend now by the time the part arrives, I have time and daylight. ![]()

Update: It was the MAP sensor again, the old one was a bit grotty but rather than clean it and try it I fitted the replacement item I’d already bought. Wiring looked fine as did the MAF. I checked all the boost pipes with the car on ramps and couldn’t see any issues but I also cleaned out the throttle body whilst it was accessible as the butterfly in there and EGR had accumulated plenty of crud.
All back together, faults reset, a few test runs at the weekend and then a commute yesterday. All fine and feels plenty ‘Polestar optimised’ again ![]() Cheers Stu

I currently have P023800 as well come up. with the car boosting normally and sometimes will cut off boost pressure at around 2.5k revs. I’ve replaced the MAP sensor but the issue still exists. not sure what it could be. I wonder if the VNT vanes are a bit clogged up with carbon build up which could make them stick. so I think i’ll disconnect the actuator and see for myself if it’s sticking. if anyone has any suggestions let me know.
