could this be the culprit????????????
my volvo bi fuel fac fit, well down on mpg. i just had regular service (not lpg system) the machanic has put volvo 3 pin plugs in.
i read they are not good to use with lpg. any 1 know the best plugs for my car. volvo v70 bi-fuel 2004 auto se 2.4 |

only at the bottom of this page I doubt the plugs alone would be causing the poor MPG but if the MPG did drop just after changing the plugs then it willl be well worth trying a correct set. What else was done in the service? |

as far as i am aware it was just a regular service ie oil change filter plugs. but im trying to fathom out why my milage has decreased, the 3 pin volvo plugs arnt ideal. so i need to change them for denso copper core, but i cant find them anywhere. as i dont know which type fits my car. im having the lpg side serviced soon, then ill refil on gas from a diff station, and clock the milage.
oh btw i see they sell fuel filters on ebay for the lpg system. around £13 are these ok to use? volvo want £75 plus vat . cheeky arnt they. |
