Plugged my wife's V40 2.0 to vida and the adaptation of sensor instruction is there but no instruction for the D4146T just take out and put back in reverse order so assume it does not need it. Checked the wires as the DPF thermostat wire had broken at the connection which i think caused DPF to burn out was advised it will have holes in the honeycomb. Good advice scrolling down as previous searches were down the screen and not obvious, much more information available than i thought.

dpf sensor may re configure its self but it may take several journeys before this happens delete all prievious codes and work from there.
