Have you got.....??
Hi chaps - work on The Amazon 122s proceeds apace and I'm now after some MORE parts.
So, does anyone have a reasonably priced overdrive gearbox for 67 B18 and also I guess I will need the prop to go with it! Having now gone through the car and made the appropriate list \i discovered that I will need a near side (passenger) door card in black along with a plastic cup and spring for the door handle (interior) The springs and shocks are in poor nick - all round - does anyone have a set or could you reccomend what or from whom to buy. I'm none too impressed with the state of the radiator either and am looking at getting it rebuilt unless anyonehas a decent replacement. I've managed to lay my hands on a full Kenlowe fan kit inc manual switch override and thermo control. Does anyone know a seat rebuilder in the Manchester area? Drivers seat is collapsed somewhat and very uncomfortable! Ok - well thats it for now and I will post some pics soon Cheers all and thanks for the help in advance PenR |

http://www.classicvolvoparts.co.uk/ but for springs & shocks, try also Classic Swede: http://www.classicswede.com/amazon-p1800.html Worth searching the forum for info on what springs and dampers are suitable for which applications. Quote:

Thanks for the Invite
I shall certainly be taking Dai up on his kind invitation to visit as I'm Welsh anyway (any chance of a discount for a fellow countryman?)
I have just realised that although I have what appears to be the original radio (it specifies it in the original sales doc that I have including the Green lg book) does anyone know where the aerial shold go - sounds daft I know but there is no hole in either wing or the roof - is there a correct position? I really must stop being so picky about originality Cheers PenR |
