Is this any good?
I’m a keen angler so the C30 is used a lot with the rear seats folded forward in order to accommodate fishing rods, tackle, muddy wellies and all sorts of smelly fishy stuff. I just sling an old blanket over the cargo area to protect it.
The Volvo dirt cover looks like a pretty good alternative because it seems that it can stay in place whether the rear seats are up or down. Also looks like it I can leave it there when I’m not fishing, the seats are up and I’m using the hard cargo cover. http://parts4volvos.co.uk/product/C3...tment_30721952 There’s loads of universal type covers for sale at a lot less that the Volvo item but it does look tailor made for what I need. Has anyone any experience of it? Thank you. Last edited by Rusty1; Nov 17th, 2013 at 21:13. |

You use it by attaching the fixing points to the side of the car and theres hoops that attach to the headrests of the rear seats, its also a very hard wearing material so should be more than durable enough for angling. I've just purchased the genuine floor cover (the hard plastic one) and thats a decent buy as an alternative, only it doesnt go all the way into the corners at the opening |

Thanks for the opinions guys. No used ones on ebay at the moment so I've ordered one from my local dealer today.

Fitted the cargo dirt cover today and it was pretty painless really. I actually followed the instructions and taped it all in place before I fitted the pop studs to the trim. I still managed to get one in the wrong place but it wasn’t the catastrophe I thought it’d be, the trim covers the redundant hole well.
These are the pop studs you have to fit to the trim, there’s five for each side; Hard and soft luggage covers can still used with the dirt cover; With rear seats up; And folded forward; The cost is steep but it’ll only take one spilt chicken vindaloo or a punctured alloy slung in the boot for it to be well worth the money in my opinion. Finally the car; |
