Default 205/60/16 Tyres?

Does anybody know if 16inch alloys with 205/60/16 winter tyres fit my C30 R Design without rubbing?

Unfortunately the aspect ratio is too high. The correct size is 205/55 16. The 60 would through the speedo out and also probably cause clearance issues.

You would be better running 205/55, also you should consider insurance implications.

Check 205/60R16 here: http://tire-size-conversion.com/tire-size-calculator/ against the 215/45R18, if your car comes with the 18" rims, otherwise against 205/50R17 or 205/55R16. The circumference diff against the 18" is 0.3 inch more, but it is difficult to say if that will cause issues: Note that tires will vary to some extent in size, so to be on the safe side, just use with 205/55R16.

Also the insurance argument is important, using non-Volvo approved tires may get you into trouble with your insurance company.

I agree, going outside the manufacturer recommend tyre size will need to be declared as a modification if you want to avoid potential issues should you make a claim.
