Default S40 2.0D SE 2004 Cracked pipe part number?

Hi guys - hope you're all well.

Looking for a little help if anyone has a spare moment to reply I would be most grateful.

I'm trying to explain what this part is over the phone with Volvo but I think I have them a little stumped. I noticed a loss of power and a loud "whoosh" noise around boost rpm 2-2.5k. I've found it has a crack on the "flex" part of the pipe.

If you know what it is.. what it does I'd appreciate any advice. Do these things have part numbers?

Thank you guys again.
Helena

I'm not a 100% but if it originates from your intercooler it could be this it certainly looks like it . . .

Looks like there are two different ones, one for an automatic and one for a manual.

bremner27 - Thanking you very much! - Charge air pipe - aka: Number 4 it is!
Thanks for highlighting it on the screenshot too so I can see the part number. It's a 6 gear manual but at least this way I can actually say what it's called now.
Have a good evening, you've made mine!

Thats exactly the same pipe that went on mine a while ago and I used that same diagram to get the replacement.

The new ones dont have the flexible ridges on them, around £90 from a main stealer if remember right. Replacement is pretty straight forward, easier with the bumper off! Good luck

Thanks both. Thought I'd blown the turbo at first with the noise it made and the loss of boost. Had some cold mornings recently perhaps its the cold and then the heat that cracked it.. and the age maybe.
Best wishes and thanks for your advice.
