black grill

hello all has anyone got a black grill without the chrome if poss for a 1995 N reg 940 turbo if so how much

Do you mean an eggcrate grille? If so, the only black ones came with a chrome surround. These were fitted to 'sport' models and some of the 1998 m/y production.
Early 940 turbos (and possibly late 740 turbos as well) were fitted with eggcrate grilles painted in a metallic graphite with the surround painted the same colour (the centre of my grille was one of these).
Both of these versions are as rare as hen's teeth. Good luck finding one.

i will consider it as i want one without the chrome really i will speak to my paint man and see if it can be painted

The chrome surround is made from the same plastic as the grille.
Painting should be no problem with a light rubbing back with wet and dry, and the appropriate primer to prepare.

Hi ... Egg box grill came in all black finnish too !!
I have two , one for sale £50 the laquer for want of a better word is coming off a little on the top (common prob) would prefer collection from west london as the're a faf to post ...Robb.

I'm not too sure if the early 740 grills fit however I saw this on eBay whilst looking for bits for my 940...
