Ahh right, ok.

The early turbos were indeed oil cooled only, and I think they added water cooling in 85/86. That said, I'm pretty sure a oil/water cooled turbo will operate fine without the water lines hooked up (maybe best to plug the holes though). I'm sure I read somewhere that they only introduced water cooling as people were switching the car off straightaway and didn't let it cool down for a minute or two after a run.

Wish I could edit the original post then I could take out the ones that have sold.

I'll take the 940 front N/S clear indicator for £15 too if that's alright? Ideally I'd like a pair but I will just have to keep an eye out for the other side
