Ah, thought it might be the case. Not a problem, just wanted to the be able to update the price. I'll just make it clear in subsequent posts:

It's a real shame because if I wasn't so busy with this bloody DIY I'd do the work on it.

To answer your question, I'm 99.9% certain it does have a passenger air bag (just looking at the dash in the pictures as the car isn't at mine) Why do you ask out of interest?

I know the feeling regarding the DIY!

I know the later ones did have an airbag, but I seldom see them. Someone else will know more than me, but do they need to be checked at 10/15 year intervals?

Not something I've heard of tbh. I doubt it's something that's even feasible or enforceable for that matter.

According to the sticker on the door post of my 1996 960 the airbag needs to be changed every 10 years.

Well in all the cars I've owned, I have never had someone question if the airbags have been replaced or not lol
Either way, any interest? Because I don't have the time or inclination to break it and the scrappy is calling at this rate.

I'm flying down from Glasgow on the 17th and it's only £60.00
