I've had 2 people threaten to buy it and have been unable to come and view, I'm going to give it another week on here and advertise it again on Gumtree, after Wed next week I'm going to put it on Usedcarsni.com, although I'd love it to go to a Volvo lover like myself. It also has a nice shiney new set of number plates fitted

Had a couple of enquiries about it being NI reg'd on mainland, basically, its perfectally legal, as far as I know the NI MOT is reconised on the PNC checks now too. Also with it being NI Reg'd, it has what is known on mainland as a dateless reg number, no one will know what age it is, put a set of 960 rear lamps and clear front lamps and she could be a 1998 model

After the ongoing saga of our 850 2.5 CD (just don't ask), and just looking at the lilac 960 on eBay - tarted up like a cross between a tarts boudoir and a boy racer's dream - stickers proclaiming ABS and Executive (it isn't) tatty merc-like s'steel arch covers, reversing sensors drilled into the bootlid (yes, really), big boots, big yellow 'Fire Extinguisher in Boot' sign stuck to the dash, and oil mist all over the rocker cover, etc (it's mint he reckons!) - this looks refreshing clean and unadorned.

Anyhoo, we're back till the other side of New Year and the ferry to Belfast is a doddle from here, so if you can give me PM me a ballpark figure to work around we might be in business?

I'm on the look out for a good 940 TD estate, I would consider a part-ex with this and I may also consider contributing towards ferry costs, anybody serious about this car, get in touch and talk to me.
