I had the 140k cam belt kit and aux belt kit change done recently at volvo for £375 inc all in. Would of been £300 at a local garage but for non-genuine parts. All in all I don't mind paying for peace of mind, and the volvo dealer is closer than the 'local' garage we trust!

Thanks for that Phil, I thought it might have been more, but I guess its just a belt lol was that with a water pump change as well? Im ok with paying a bit more for proper parts rather than non genuine parts, all parts on my car are OEM Volvo, including the oil filter and sump washer lol

Didn't do anything with the waterpump after reading on here the original waterpumps seem to do good mileage. Plus I dread to think what volvo would charge for a waterpump itself!

Owners always are in horror at the thought of the cost of spares from Volvo!

Ok, so waterpumps can be cheap but then only last a year for £40 without labour.

But my V70 waterpump from Volvo is £80 for a very reliable 170,000 miles!!

One takes there choice.

Yeah im only going with OEM parts, Volvo OEM parts are usually 30-40% more expensive but last twice as long, so it actually costs more to buy the cheaper parts, with regards to the water pump....I don't really want that seizing and wrecking the engine lol
