740 estate value
Hi all
I have been offered from a family member p reg 740 2.3 with fsh , they owned from new , garaged 99% time so in very good condition with 140k miles they say they get about 20 --30mpg from her ??? ( is that about right ) What price is about correct for it? Grant |

i would hazard a guess at 600-1000 pounds

Just seen it and drove , its a 940 not 740 like i said but in showroom condition not a mark on it

Sounds like a good example, have a good look what price they make on ebay and price accordingly, probably £750 or so sounds like a good start if it's as good as you say. http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/Cars-Motor..._nkw=volvo+940 And yeah, with a car such as this you're lucky to get high 20s in everyday use.

only my view
if its been well maintained then even if you do have to pay a bit more then it is well worth it.
you may see some 940s for a few hundred but if they need an exhaust, brake pads, tyres and battery etc it could easy take another £500 to put right. if this one is one owner from new and garaged most of its life it sounds right good luck. |

Yes it just been serviced so it dont need anything i can see and gunna be a great buy for some1 as i cant buy her cause the fuel gunna be too much for my miles which i do =====SO ITS OPEN FOR OFFERS ======
