  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Interesting - unlike the OP's 2014 car, my Dec 2014 D4's electronic dipstick shows a bar with 4 or 5 markers along it between the Min and Max to show the relative fullness. I think my car may be an early MY 15 model with an updated display. Anyway a graded display is an improvement on a simple hi or lo signal.

Anyway, good to hear that the OP has got things sorted.

Pretty sure that Volvo dealers offer a free oil top-up between services if required

Mine also has markings along the range, misleadingly implying that it gives intermediate readings, but it does not.
