The rpm needle on the tachometer on the dash board.
It is driven by the spark system, so if its working during the engine fault condition it can tell you something about the fault. No rpm reading can mean amplifier problems or crank sensor problem, otherwise more likely to be fuel or air problem. The spark should always be on if the engine is turning. O2 sensor failure should not cause any noticeable problem except emissions. |
