rear tyre uneven wear
Hi
I have an xc60 2011 year and have noticed it is wearing the rear tyres on the inside edge, any ideas what the cause may be and how to fix it, Regards Terry. |

The rear tracking is probably out. This can be just out or disturbed by a heavy curbing. One clue is when you are travelling in a straight line is your steering wheel also symmetrical?
It needs putting on a 4 wheel laser tracking system such as Hunter. There are specialists out who do nothing else. Google Hunter 4 wheel alignment to find someone near to you. Your Volvo dealer can do it but it will be more expensive.

I noticed inside rear left wearing and took it for Hunter 4 wheel alignment and was told it was in the recommended spec.I asked what could be causing it and the reply was uneven tyre pressures but they are all on 36.
