Default V70 handbreak

My old V70 (2006) needs a few bits. Are these getting harder to find these days
My garage guy was finding it hard to find the handbreak shoes / pads whaterver it is.

Are these fairly easily available or do I need a specialist supplier?
Also the rear glass alarm has started playing up and going off. Thinking best to disconnect the horn or is it otherwise fixable as a common fault. If so, how?

You may be better off posting in the forum for your car, this deals with the V70 up to 1999. Although the handbrake may be similar, you will get accurate, pertinent advice in there.

tell your garage to get get genuine volvo hand brake shoes or you will end up buying twice like lots of others before including my self as for the alarm its one of the most common failures some times you can replace the battery's in the unit if the circuit board is not damaged by the old leaking battery's.
