Default 740 Mats

Hopefully will get to the BKV rally at Uttoxeter next year and was thinking of getting new mats. Have looked on Ebay, but they seem to be the generic type. Has anyone got suggestions on a good fitting mat.

Thanks

You could try Volvo or look for 940 mats to see if there's anything better than the generic ones which don't really fit, even the ones you're meant to trim to shape/size.

There are some places around that custom make mats to suit, they're not cheap though.

I've just seen on facebook that a company called roadworks are car carpet suppliers. They might be able to help - roadworksauto.com but don't know where they are.

They're in the "good ol' US of A" and don't appear to offer international shipping.

http://roadworksauto.com/contact.htm

Two problems there, first - getting the mats here, second and most important, by default they'll be for LHD cars so won't fit properly in the front.

A few UK suppliers of bespoke car mats :

https://simplycarmats.co.uk/volvo-90...-2551-2903.htm

https://vehiclematsuk.com/volvo-car-mats

I found a third supplier who although they tried to say they were in the UK, listed the prices in $ and showed all LHD cars

Another was an ebay shop :

Seems you pay your money and take your choice really, quite a few around if you search online but with the newest 7xx now being nearly 30 years old, might not be easy to find the right supplier!
