I never understood why the RD cars come with aluminum pedals and a plastic footrest in place of a matching aluminum one..

China has the answer!

Is it too blingy or should I go for it?...

Try to find one with some rubber on it to be matching the pedals

I've been thinking the same- if it had the black rubber pegs it would look much better.. They seem to have mimicked the design of the plastic footrest which just has the longitudinal grooves..

I'm also unsure of the texture - it seems shiny - whereas the original pedals have more of a brushed steel design..

For the price- I think I'n just gonna bite the bullet and give it a try..

My momentum has all black pedals, i ordered sports pedals to be fitted by the dealer when I ordered the car, but I was told Volvo don't do them anymore.

I have since bought the above from China (foot rest - not arrived yet; I have also read it it is actually a 1.5 cm smaller than the actual foot rest) and the two other pedals (which arrived yesterday)

I haven't fitted them yet

NB Also wanted mudflaps front and rear, but dealer only fitted front as apparently the back has mini flaps - which is in front of the rear wheel arch)

(Guess what ... I have ordered a full set from China as I could not find separate rear ones)

I ordered it to give it a try

I’m thinking I’ll sand it down (150 grit first and finish with 350 after..) to get the brushed metal effect of the OEM pedals.. I hope it will make it less blingy and more factory looking.. I’ll post some pics when I’m done.

I can confirm that the material/finish is as close to OEM as it gets. Installation is a snap- the piece comes with double-sidded tape pre-applied - so pretty much peel & stick. I love it!

Looks good, mine has not arrived yet, but the chinese accelerator and brake pedal I got are exactly like your original ones. (I had paid £120 for the dealer to fit them for me - they said Volvo had discontinued them). Chinese ones cost me less than £20
