He does have previous bad form for a dodgy LPG conversion he did, well documented on here. I wouldn’t touch anything from his website personally, unfortunately he comes up on internet searches for old Volvo bits quite readily.

Found the thread - https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showt...159255&page=15 - court found against him for £1900 but he tried to pay £20 a month and didn't keep up with payments (might have been paid up now who knows? Thread was closed).

Lots of other examples of poor customer service/problems if you google it.

Not someone I would deal with.

Yeah should have researched a bit more. He just happened to be the only one selling the nivo replacements. should have just ordered those as they are fine. The front shocks are most likely manufactured by maxSpeedingRods and just branded as classic swede. Not sure about this but all the research I've done seems to point that way.

Lesson learned and hopefully someone learns from my mistakes. Authorities have been informed but with brexit coming i might be out of luck...

All the prime major manufacturers of shockers (both front and rear) make replacement non self-levelling shocks to replace rear Nivomats if you want to go that route for whatever reason. It's just a matter of choice but always go for the big names. There are many threads here and elsewhere on the subject. Bob

How many times does this have to happen before whoever moderates on here does something about it.
If I could be bothered I would dig out the Classic Swede LPG tank installation photo again, it's on a thread on here somewhere and pretty much says it all.

Never had a problem and bought loads of stuff in the past.

His delivery times are the best out there! Literally next day on most of the stuff I’ve ordered.

So some news about this. Classicswede has told me that he has not received the broken part so he cannot replace it as per terms. I can understand this but I asked about 3 weeks ago if I need to return the item and my question was ignored.

To this I responded who will pay for the return of the dead on arrival part and according to EU laws customer should not be responsible for this. I asked about this and still no reply. Sending it back from Finland is not cheap and I have no guarantees of actually receiving anything back.

When it comes to the quality of parts from I cannot comment on that as any seller can have a bad piece or it can break on transit. What I find appalling is the lever of customer service that I'm receiving for the item and I cannot recommend this to anyone.

Also no questions of the manufacturer of the front shocks have been answered even tough I have asked for it multiple times.
