We are talking ford duratec I asume.
the are a very common conversion but the do suffer from VSR as do must other Ford engines. Fitting a valves system will give you good life out of the head before needed any machining work. Typicaly about 100,000 miles of running with valve saver or 10,000 without. |

Little update.
Been running with lpg for 800 miles now, just had first service and all is well. Did a few tweeks today and the car feels even better. Running cost are down from £70 a week to £36.
