Entertainment package??
Hello all,
my P2 is finally dying...after 274k miles. To make myself feel better I have picked up a P3 with a poultry 168k!! 2.4 175 which I am toying with tuning... Drives like a dream. SE LUX premium. Has rear heated seats, rear audio controls and 2 headphone jacks, DVD player in boot....but no rear screens. Any suggestions, does it play off the sat nav screen, am I missing headrest screens. It is a 2010 if that helps. Thanks in advance |

It’s connected into the front head unit. Let’s the rear passengers listen via wired headphones to a different channel (or cd) than the front passengers are listening to.

Reggit is exactly right - I might just add the extra controls have nothing to do with the RSE kit fitted. I have the addiotnal control panel and the Rear Seat Entertainment (RSE) pack with screens. I found it a real frustration that you couldn't listen to a DVD through wired headphones - the rear panel only has audio from the front head unit as discussed.
I like yourself presumed the two to be linked but sadly they're not. It does seem like a lovely thing to have in a car but honestly you'll get more kid satisfaction from a tablet in their hands or on a headrest mount. We do (did before the car broke down this month) use ours on long trips with the infra headphones but quickly they get bored of it!

We’ve also got the RSE system with screens, IR headphones etc and I think it’s been used once in the 2 years we’ve had the car. Technology has moved on, it will have been great when the car was new 12 years ago…
