Default Sound System settings

Hi all,

I remember reading a thread somewhere on here on what the optimum settings were for the front and rear equalisers and also bass, treble etc. Anyone have a link to that thread or what the settings were

Thanks

There's another one here http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showpo...20&postcount=5 which I followed. Made quite a difference before I replaced with aftermarket

Interesting, how did you get an aftermarket integrated into the XC60?

would be cool to know this

Sorry, I may have misled you. I used these settings in my C70 (2003)

Default Alternative for Hard Rock & Metal

Here's an alternative for rock, hard rock and metal which I found to be less boomy than the previous settings.

I'm using a USB stick, with files converted to MP3 format at 320Mbps.

You may need to adjust the bass and sub settings depending on the individual recordings.

pretty similar to mine, although i've got base a bit lower in the front. and tweet higher in front than back. also, i've taken 1k right down.

if you set everything flat and boost the 1k you can make the stereo sound like an am radio! actually quite good if you listen to am radio!
