Electric windows

Will the electric window mechanisms from a 1993 (series1) 460 fit a 1998 440? I can think of no reason why they should not as the doors appear identical but does anyone know for sure?

I can't say for sure, but they should be the same.The only difference is that the earlier models had the electric window switch on the storage compartment behind the handbrake lever, while the later models had the switch on the door.(Correct me if i may be wrong

)
