Hi all, is there that much difference with the 302 discs over the 280's? If it's worthwhile I'm thinking that next time I need to replace my front discs I'll get 302's, and be prepared with longer brake pipes and the different caliper brackets to fit them. Are the caliper brackets standard from the 70 series cars? And do they bolt directly on an 850? And - final question - do they fit under 16" wheels, it looks as though there's about an additional 10 mm space from the wheel to the caliper, but I'd hate to collect all the bits and do a trial fit up only to discover I couldn't get the wheels back on!

The V70R AWD came with 16" Satellite wheels and 302mm vented front and 288mm Vented rear discs as standard, not sure whether you get at least the same space with your 16" wheels, but probably.

the 302mm discs wont fit under the 16" 850 alloys (columbia's), you will need to either get some 16" perfo's from the s\v70's or put on some 17"'s.

you need to make sure you get the caliper bracket for the 302's as the s\v70's can with both 280's and 302's.
