The only saving grace for you on this sorry saga is that at least you paid by credit card, and didn't send them a cheque in the first place!!

I had a lot of trouble a few years ago with goods supplied, or rather not supplied/faulty. etc from a company, ( Not an auto company) but like you had paid with a credit card, and to give the card company their due, they took up the case when I contacted them about the amount showing on my bill, and it was the credit card company that sorted the 'suppliers' out!

I'm not a great lover of credit cards, but at least you do get some protection from fraud, shoddy goods etc.

Thanks for the comments and support folks. I wanted to share this soul destroying experience with fellow Volvo owners and thought I'd give everyone an insight into the way I'd been treated by this particular company.

I won't due to the comeback on the author but these sorts of lazy rude idiots really p1ss you off...

Anyone who read this, tell your mates, hopefully we can stop anyone else having to put up with what these lying b#stards put him through...
They know already. They sent me an email earlier this evening, congratulating me on my "nice story".

News travels quickly. I placed this thread on a few forums last Friday night. The following morning I was at a garage and one of the boys behind the desk asked me if I was the gentleman that had been experiencing problems with DP Motorsport. He then went on to tell me he too had similar problems with them not so long ago.

No woories mate, if they ever send you another mail, tell them even a bunch of people in Oz know how sh1te they are....

If they did that here there'd be a Ute full of lads down there smashing the place up.... there quite direct at times the aussies... love it....

Anyhow all the best with whatever you choose...

(may i just mention compomotive have been awesome in the past for me making custom alloys for an old pug 205 rally car.... top blokes.... as much as those that don't perform should be slated, those that do should be congratulated...)

Congratulations on a clear writeup of a horrendous story. I will be posting this link on other car websites I visit.

DP should be ashamed of themselves.

Oh... and nice wheels !

Ha ha ha - nice back pedal

And that's the 302mm 3G Brembo discs too.

Hmmm; they do look small now you've mentioned it.

wow, I don't know how you kept your cool for so long!

I would have been driving to their shop / business premises after 2 weeks never mind 6-7 weeks!

This kind of thing makes me rage, they take your money then fk about..... problem is you never know if they are about to go broke or something and disappear with your cash!
