  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Default Wishbones : Did you use new bolts ?

So...Did you reuse your original bolts or buy new ones from Volvo ?

Are they expensive /

It's not a necessity but you might want to put a bit of nut lock/Loctite on the threads.

Mine were volvo parts and came with the new bolts, however on the D5 phase 1 the gearbox stops one of the near side bolts being removed/ fitted unless you undo the engine and gearbox mountings and lift the lump up to clear hole.So only 3 new bolts used on mine and upon inquireing around seems a lot of the dealer workshops do this probably due to the time element x £70/ hour.
Five years after the wishbone renewal no problems yet.

I bought these for mine whilst on Hols in the UK. Got them via Tivoli Volvo Indie who got them for me from Eurocarparts.



They came with bolts in the packaging .
