Default V60 2015 d4 - alarm activated and won't switch off

Hi, had intermittent fault showing for alarm service but it goes away. Last night the sirens went off at 2am. Eventually stopped after a few mins with engine running
Remote key didnt deactivate. Left it unlocked overnight (securely) to save wakening neighbours again. Any advice? Thanks

Could this possibly be a duff battery within the alarm itself. Would account for the alarm being silenced when you ran the car.
From reading other posts the alarm unit was under the wing liner on the near side. I have also seen a UTube video of the built-in battery pack being rebuilt or I suppose it‘s purchasing a new unit. (If it is indeed the battery pack)

I have an ongoing alarm problem with my 2015 V60 Polestar. Alarm triggered with no reason, but no siren, just the hazard lights flashing to begin with. Then it stopped triggering unless the door etc was opened. Siren battery is fine ( I stripped it down). The code reader tells me BUS communication has been lost with it and the immobilizer.

For a £50,000 car with 16,000 miles on it, such a fault is inexcusable. What poor quality.

I'll live with it until the next service in January.
