Question headlight problems

Hi guys a problem I spotted tonight, my front left headlight is playing up, at first I thought the bulb died no biggy put new one in, but now after putting 3 new ones yes 3 > in i replaced it again and it still isnt working either

But what I noticed is that when i put my full beam on hey presto bulb magically works

So could someone help please?

have you checked the fuses? if the fuses are ok it might be a faulty light switch

Omar is it just the one headlight playing up? Are the side lights or day running lights work ok? (smaller tiny bulb).

There are 3 wires to the main bulb. 1 is earth (brown), 2 is high beam (white/blue?), 3 is normal beam (blue?) and (which aint working on yours).

The high beam works but is activated with your left indicator. So I would suspect your light switch 'circle knob' is a fault. Pop it out and check the white circular connecting block behind it.

But before anything check and double check again your fuses and 3 pin connector at the bulb. Also, while your down there again, worth looking at the Brown earth wire which should attached to the negative earth strap off your battery which is bolted onto the inner wing! Easy peasy let me know how you get on!
