Default Auto seat/steering wheel heating

Just had a slightly strange thing happen on my XC60.
Up until a few days ago the seat/steering wheel heating automatically came back on again with the last setting used whenever you start the car.
Now it doesn't - both are off although as I have them set to warm up when preconditioning they both are warm when you get in the car but you have to manually turn them both on again when you start the ignition.
Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

Default Heating

I've found on my v90cc that seat heating comes on no problem when it's cold but when outside temp raises it no longer comes on looks like it's also controlled by outside temp

Are you using a different key that is not profiled to that setting.

Seat heat and steering heaters come on when set to auto when temperature is below 10°c rear screen heater below 7°c

Using same key as I've always used - reckon it must be to do with outside temperature then - it has been a little warmer recently.

From memory the outside temperature has to be at or below 9 or 10 degrees for the seat and steering wheel heat to come on automatically (assuming that is how you have your settings configured). I’m assuming the same is true for remote start.

Try resetting your key profile after checking all you correct settings are ticked in Sensus, if it were just the outside temperature being above the minimum the seat and steering heaters would not come on with a remote start.
If the temperature is below 10 °c and heaters come with remote start turning the ignition on reverts to the key profile setting. You may also see media setting change with a different key profile.

Your right if the temp is 10 deg or more it won’t come on, if it’s 9 or less it will
