Default C30 2010 1.6d loses boost

I have just collected a 2010 1.6d C30. Drives lovely but boost vanishes if I attempt to drive it with any enthusiasm.
If I turn the car off and back on it boosts fine as long as I don't rev above around 3200 rpm area

Try a fuel filter first with that engine. Long story, won’t bore you!

Sounds like you have had some pain lol
Car meant to have full service history but will give that a go.
Feels more electronic as it is fine immediately after a restart

And then get a full scan done with VIDA. A generic reader will give you generic codes. Only VIDA will give you detailed Volve specific codes and for a complex engine (which sadly this is) I suspect you might need that.
