Engine: 850 T5/R - adrian flux doing my head in

after several forms of info, most I had to use pdf and email as there web site is buggered and the staff don't seem bothered about it, I finally get the agreed value through for my 1994 850 T5R yellow saloon.

now I have already spoken to Bob back in 2012 at the NEC and he thinks like me £6500 is about right. it came second in the national 2013 for BKV 850.

well Adrian Flux have come back and said £5000 or ill need to spend out on an engineers report. Christ sake, why when you phone these people up do they say yes yes we can insure it agreed value bla bla bla. then take the money and send you umpteen forms to fill out take 2-3 weeks to come back with a valuation below what they said they could insure it for.

does anyone know if they have successfully argued the valuation up at all?
