Default 2001 V40 T4 Head Rebuild

Hi All,
I'm in the middle of head rebuild after changing head gasket on my 2001 V40 T4.
On strip down I made the unfortunate mistake of pulling off the exhaust VVT pulley, thinking that there would be timing marks or woodruff key on cam, which as soon as I took the pulley off I realised there wasn't and it relies on the pulley for timing marks.
Well I've started the rebuild and used the video below as a guide, which is for a 5 cylinder not 4 but thought it looked good as a guide.
I only have an Exhaust VVt pulley, which isn't sprung loaded and there isn't anywhere near the movement as in the video, I found another Volvo forum that mentions the movement should only be 1 1/2 tooth of movement. Can anyone confirm this please?
I have timed the engine the best I can, (which after buggering up the VVT pulley I brought a cam locking tool) with the thinking that at worst the timing will be 180degrees out. Not yet at the stage for starting, I still need to get the exhaust and inlet manifold fitted and associated wiring back.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks.

I have turned the engine over a few times by hand and there hasn't been a problem with locking up so not looking to bad at the moment.

There is a locking tool that fits on the gearbox side of the camshafts to lock them in place,

The s/v40 vvt pully's don't move like the bigger cars,

Thanks for the reply Rooster, That's interesting to know. I shall carry on. I've got the exhaust manifold and turbo to put back the inlet manifold and all the electrical gubbins.
