144 and 164
Can anybody advise if 140 and 164 front seats are directly interchangeable, ie are the floor locations the same. Don't want to spoil a nicely undersealed floor.
Also can anybody confirm if late 144 front wings (ie with chin-mounted indicators) are directly interchangeable with early ones (low indicators). Naturally a new indicator light slot would need cutting, and the high one blanked. Are all body/front panel fixings and the basic profile the same? These could mean another couple of cars on the road soon! Paul |

I have swapped 164 seats into a 144 GL that already had leathers in.
Wings are interchangeable and I welded up and recut the indicator holes before. |
