Suspension: - 850 t5r gap between tyre and arch

fitted new front springs a while ago and the car looks as if its sitting higher at the front.

before I could barely get my hand between the arch and tyre, unless im imagining things.

could someone with a recent spring change check the height of theres please.

ill go and measure mine in a mo, ooh err.

What springs did you get? Sounds like you have normal v70/850 springswhich are 20-40mm higher ride height

Most motorfactors parts details for r cars is incorrect in that they don't recognise they ride lower.

I think 630mm to highest part of the arch is stock r height, 650/55mm for normal models

I bought them from a Volvo dealer using the vin number. when we laid them on the floor they seemed the same length. maybe the old springs sagged?

Aye, springs do fatigue and loose effective rate. So it's possible, even if they weren't cracked, you'll prob notice a slightly less crashy ride too

checked mine and its about the same 625-640 maybe.
