Default C30 T5 - Wet passenger rear floor

Hi all,

I’ve seen many similar situations, however none that only have the passenger rear floor.

I’ve found that the passenger rear floor is wet, this is the only area affected, I’ve taken up the carpet very slightly by removing the trim lining the door and unscrewing the seatbelt rail and found a minimal amount of standing water with the foam soaked and carpet slightly more dry, has anybody had this before or found a solution?

Thanks

Mine was leaking around the rear light cluster and also the plastic bits the rear hatch closes onto.... Both sorted with some clear silicone sealant.

If you have a sunroof check the drains are clear.

Unfortunately mine was damp enough to necessitate removing the interior to allow it to properly dry out, not as difficult as you might think but still a bit of a faff!

When our C30s windscreen was leaking, it was the rear foot wells we noticed first... I think it’s just the easiest place to spot, so don’t rule out the sunroof and/or windscreen just because you found it in the rear.

Thanks, both of you.

I don't have a sunroof, and didn't seem to be coming from the rear air vents, so will check the areas you've mentioned.

Cheers.
