No, I'm looking for a way to open it whilst I'm in the boot. Planing to sleep in it for a weekend trip.

My 2011 s60 has the open boot button on the fob i would have thought the V60 would be the same.

Mine unlocks the rear hatch from the key fob but doesn't actually open it... I thought this was a fault when I first got the car so asked on a forum thread and found out it was normal.

Come to think of it mine does the same.But i have never tried to open it without pressing the handle,Habit i think.

I've got a 2011 S60. Double pressing the boot release on the remote releases the lock enough to open the boot lid without using the boot release button. From inside a push on the lid opens it.
I'm not aware of any anti-kidnap mechanism in European spec cars enabling the opening from the inside.
