Volvo should be able to supply the parts, I've just bought a kit for a 2001 V40, x2 brackets and all the nuts and bots. I think it was about £30 for one side. I've seen the part numbers in a couple of threads on here which you'll find if you do a quick search, I've not got mine to hand.

Hi mate,
I actually called the FRF Volvo in Swansea?? Ordered dash bulbs, he was of the opinion they aren't made any more. I got hold of the parts print out for the rear bench so now have the exploded view and part numbers. I saw the bolts, i'll be getting them as well. Did you get the plastic guide as well? I hear it's useless. I'm wanting to fit the passenger side, more room behind the better half. Chris |

Do they mean they cant find the correct part numbers on the parts system ( VIDA ) or that volvo have said that they are no longer available ?

Chris, Did you have any luck fitting the ns isofix on your V40?
I retro-fitted isofix to the os rear seat, but the ns was tricky and required drilling, so I didn't bother. This was on a 99 Phase 1 V40. I bought both parts from a Volvo dealer in Pirbright, roughly 4-5 years ago. They refunded me for the ns parts. Also, I enquired about them fitting it, but they refused, as they don't like drilling body work - some kind of warranty/insurance thing. |

Yes you're right. I've now fitted both isofix brackets with no problems into my phase 2. They just bolt in, unlike on the phase 1 which does require drilling. m. |
