Default Oldie.

I drive a Japanese import V70 p11 2007, with only 8000 miles on the clock. I used to own a 245DL and a 745GLE, owned for over 10 years each. Had a Shogun for 12 years and decided to revert to Volvo last year, hence the V70 now.

I'm 29. I have a 2007 S80 2.4 D Auto (163 bhp). It has 102,000 miles on it with full Volvo history from new. It has all I need really... The leather seats are really comfortable & I've always loved cream interior.

I purchased a set of used 'Spartes' 17" alloys with tyres a few months back, as I didn't like the 18" aftermarket alloys that the previous owner installed. Two of the tyres had plenty of tread left on them, so I kept those & swapped the other two tyres for part worn Michelin's. I had the alloys professionally refurbished & I think they look quite nice in addition to my new discs, pads & sprayed calipers.

This is my first Volvo. My Dad has a 57 V70 D5 as his work horse - Its a lovely motor too. He had a H reg 740 back in the day & he always said that it was one of the nicest cars he ever owned.

My father bought a Volvo 245DL estate back in 1977 ( I was 7 years old) so I grew up with this, learnt to drive in this (no power steering!) and did my first power slide in it too!! Anyway he finally passed it on in 2005 when he retired from the business to one of his customers.

I loved the car but it took 13 years before I even considered buying a Volvo myself. Probably because i thought they were boxy and slow.

I needed to get a replacement for my BMW 520i SE after a leaking head gasket. After many hours and days thinking of the next car I kept looking at the Volvo C30 2.5T5, but in the end bought a Volvo C30 2.0 petrol R Design. I actually love this car and as of two weeks ago I now own a Volvo V40 Cross Country T5 (have I grown up?).

Will be sad to sell the C30 but need 4 doors.

Age 30 and drive a V50 D5 R Design SE. It’s the first Volvo I’ve owned but I come from a long long line of Volvo owners! I’m actively looking for a later model V70 D5/D4 R Design, wanting to avoid clogging this thread up, can anybody point me in the right direction where this information can be posted?

Im 46 and have loved volvo cars for as long as I can remember, but just got my first car, XC60 T5 momentum. Absolutely love the car it drives great and the acceleration is quite addictive. However the heavier my right foot the more costly it is on my pocket. Still worth every penny.
