Default XC90 central locking not working

Hello, we have an 2005 xc90 which will not lock with the key or the remote. None of the buttons on the remotes work at all but the interior lights come on.

I was thinking the receiver might be playing up in the rear view mirror but it must be receiving some sort or signal to trigger the interior lights. It’s been tried in various locations to rule out interference. I’ve had a search but couldn’t find anything that could point me in the right direction.

Has anyone had this before? Thanks!

Check the 2 x lock buttons inside the car.
If they do not trigger the locking then either a fuse is blown or a door switch is faulty

Tip_ use Vida.
Vida will tell you straight away, and allow you to test each door, each switch, and the remote control all independently. This will rapidly bring you to a conclusion as to what is wrong

Thanks, if only my vida hadn’t packed up! It would have been first port of call. Need to have a proper play about see what’s going on.
