Ghostlinks (lowering air suspension)
Anyone found a UK supplier of the ghostlinks?
https://www.ghostmotorsports.com/pro...links-volvo-xc I don't fancy paying high shipping and import costs on an item that likely fits in an envelope?! |

You've bought a high riding SUV to lower it?

No, I bought an large family car to carry 6 people and a dog.
It just happens to be an SUV, with a PHEV powertrain system. I don't go off road, and I prefer the look of the car when it's currently on "comfort access mode", ie it lowers itself when you park it. |

Agreed, xc60 looks great on comfort access, not so good on stilts
How are you lowering, as those won't do it alone?

Because of the air suspension, the links effectively tell the car a different value to the poem links. So a 5mm shorter link will cause the sensor to lower the car 20mm more (made up values, to demonstrate the workings). |

Polestar do away with any air suspension and go straight for Ohlins Dampers and Coil Springs (on the front, not too sure what they do spring wise on the rear) which does lower the ride height over standard, however, the cost to retrofit this setup instead of the Air Suspension on non-Polestar Engineered cars would not be effective for most.
As such, I dont believe Polestar offer any air suspension related performance/aesthetics modifications.

I like the sound of this, would save having to toggle the drive mode each time.

Retro fitting something like Ohlins isn't that bad I have put Ohlins or equivalent on a few cars but I'm not after the firmness just a lowering, these links look just the job.
