Default Oil leak.

Oh no. I've not got round to sorting out the other faults and now I've got a massive leak. I can't see where from though. It seems very clean with no smell. And is more on the near side of the engine from below the air filter housing somewhere? All levels seem fine apart from the gearbox which I can't find a dipstick for? Any help would be most appreciated

The usual suspect for this is the turbo oil return pipe seal where it enters the engine block. Cheap fix (seal and gasket kits available for a few quid) but access is best gained with the car on a lift.

I had a big oil leak on my 01 S40 T4 but from the actual turbo oil return pipe. The seal being the cheaper option first though
