Has anyone else ever come across this:

every time I go on motorway and put cruise control on. every so often the car hesitates for a split second. I'd say it say does it every 2-3 mins? literally a split second as if you have let foot off gas then immediately put it back on. weird but annoying.

Thanks for any replies

You'll have to use VIDA to read the codes to get to the bottom of this.

Sounds like a misfire but guessing is pointless.

Thanks Greg,

Getting vida tomorrow so will see if any codes show up. Weird one as It only seems to do it when cruising!

Does it only occur when cruise control is engaged?

It is going to take some methodical diagnosis to chase this down. Do not be tempted to start replacing parts to "see if it fixes it".

You say it is as if you lift the throttle momentarily - so start with the throttle pedal sensor circuit.

Would you advise taking it on a run with vida running, see if anything shows up?
