Default C30 headlight not working

Hi everyone, I’ve got a 2009 Volvo C30 that’s been converted to run xenon bulbs and the driver side dipped beam doesn’t work. I’ve swapped the headlight units around and found that that it will work when plugged into the other side of the car. I’ve read about relays failing in the CEM which could cause this. I want to test the wiring loom to the headlight before I spend a load of money getting the CEM replace. Does anyone know the relevant PIN numbers in the plug for the headlight unit and the plug for the CEM?
Any help with PIN numbers would be appreciated or any other ideas about what’s gone wrong.

I had the same problem on my C30. the nearside Xenon dip beam failed. it needed the control unit that is tucked away behind the wheel arch liner replaced. Unfortunately they are not cheap.

Are the ballasts and igniters tucked inside headlights? If its HID conversion it has spearate wiring for xenons, did you plug the headlamp to another side but maybe didnt swap the ballasts?
If ballasts are defo ok and its really just one side of headlight (that is really odd, never heard of this issue on halogen cars before), is the whole light plug dead or long beams and parking lights still work?

Find the ballasts, swap them from side to side to rule them out. Not sure where they'll be, as I understand it C30s aren't simple to fit aftermarket HIDs in, and the factory OEM ones are even more aggro!
